Be educated, be motivated; Judy will provide a great kick start to the full day’s activities.

ARTpreneur Success Story
Jordan Miller
Jordan Miller is a young female ARTpreneur who will provide you with her uplifting success story. Jordan will speak about the steps she took toward success; how the art school experience changed her life; the ups and downs of starting her two galleries and collectives; how she balances creating art and the job of being an entrepreneur; and the importance of mentorship.

Successful Selling Strategies
Kris Goold, Tammy Zebruck
Join a panel of experienced artists to learn about all the different forms and channels available to sell art; how to sell to galleries; and how to present yourself professionally to potential buyers, wholesalers, commissioned salespeople, etc. There will be opportunities to ask specific questions about your art and receive feedback and tips from artists who have been through the trenches when it comes to selling.

Art & Money
Shawn Brown
This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of self-employment income. Topics include: how to identify which expenses you incur are deductible and how to deduct them; how to calculate expenses such as business-use-of-home and business-use-of-personal vehicle; and whether your art has PST or GST implications and how to charge and remit the taxes. Also find out how self-employment income affects your personal income tax.
