This exciting event has been developed especially for Northwestern Ontario's artists. Whether you are a painter, musician, designer, actor, writer, photographer, filmmaker, singer, craftsperson... this event is created for YOU; to educate and motivate you to grow and be successful in your art business.

The term ARTpreneur is a merging of two often independent nouns.

Artist [ahr-tist] – a person who produces works in any of the arts that are primarily subject to aesthetic criteria

Entrepreneur [ahn-truh-pruh-nur] – a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk

ARTpreneur [ahrt-pruh-nur] – a person who produces works in any of the arts and organizes and manages a business with considerable initiative and risk

This event has been created to meet the business needs of our artistic entrepreneurs. We are excited to host industry professionals from across Ontario and Manitoba to provide insight, perspective, motivation, tools, funding opportunities and contacts for you – the participant, the artist, the ARTpreneur.
